New from the Hip

We are all in this together, We are all playing Our part.  I like to paint artists, especially those who I feel share My intention.  This band contributed to My awareness and played a major role in My spiritual development, even though I didn’t know or overstand how much at the time.  They, ‘The Tragically Hip’ released a new video single on YouTube today.

In a World Possessed by the Human Mind

“Just give Me the news,

it can all be lies,

Exciting over fair or,

the right thing at the right time.

Everything is clear,

just as You described.

As it appears,

a world possessed by the human mind.

Then I think I smiled,

then I think You said, ‘it’s fine.’

And quickly I dressed in a world,

completely possessed by the human mind.

We are in awe of NO ONE,

We’ve none of their FEAR,

Fighting is going no where and We stay right here,

Where everything is quiet,

And SUPER-DANGEROUS,

shadow of the law,

and colour of justice.

And then I hope I smiled,

then I’m sure You said, ‘it’s fine.’

They’ve got no interest in a world,

completely possessed by the human mind.

Everything is quiet,

a little super dangerous,

Quiet enough to hear God rustling around,

in the bushes.

Oh, but it was You,

Girl, I was so afraid,

You said, “You should’ve seen the look on Yer face”

Then I hoped I laughed,

Then I hope I said, “it’s fine.”

Then got undressed in a world,

completely possessed by the human mind.
