I can't complain to the Ottawa Police Service because I've already been arrested under fake names twice and threatened with jail time the last time. When what they in fact do is they find out how many benefits the tenant is entitled to such as hydro apartment insurance and telephone costs anything that's part of the housing expense that they've incurred as a result of being housed is covered by the City of Ottawa subsidy by Home for good. They lie to all of the tenants here about that so that they can give that money to the landlord instead while the tenants continue to pay that money from the basic needs portion of Ontario Works. Ontario Works is complicit. They are the ones who lie to beneficiaries of ODSP and Ontario Works and tell them that their utilities are are not covered by the province, that their phone costs are not covered by the province, which is true. They're covered by the subsidy that they receive. And that subsidy money is going into the landlord's pocket while they take unlawfully those extra housing expenses from the basic needs portion of Ontario Works, which also has not received an increase in over six years while the government openly states that grocery prices have increased by at least 50 percent and it's more likely a hundred.. The bacon that I used to buy for $11 four years ago is now 20.. I don't receive any more money for basic needs.. That is constructive exploitation.. And these are trusted public servants, collusion between the Ottawa police, Ottawa Councillor Kathy Curry, who also colludes with Ottawa Hydro to tell Ottawa Hydro not to release the credit on my account after I find out that they've been stealing from me for six years, to the tune of roughly $5,000 by the way..
