The First Lesson: Learning Nothing

‘When the student is ready, the master appears’ – Buddhist Proverb

I like this proverb because I think it poetically eludes to the very first teaching any  true spiritual master should give:  There is nothing for the student to learn, You are the wisdom You seek.

Truth can never be expressed in a way that can encompass what there is to be experienced.  “If We do not go within, We go without”
