Hello every One, welcome, and come Well. Okay, I admit that doesn’t sound ‘proper’, but I assure You My intention is Good and it’s a valid sentiment however One chooses to interpret it.
I’m especially excited to continue and conclude Our reading today. I knew the reading would be relevant to My Microcosm because it was intended for Me. However, I had also intended to share the read with My audience as an introduction to Tarot, and also to expand on some of the Ideas I was tall King about in My Matrix De-Coded series. I had no Idea the read would merge My Microcosm with Man’s Macrocosm so… Magically. At the same time, the last thing I should be is surprised.
I still have My legal Matter with the city of Ottawa going on in the background, and I sent an email to Geneviève Langlais at 8:40 Avant Midi this Magical Monday Morning to inform her that I am hoping to have a formal response prepared by the end of the week. The moment I sent the email, I was excited and inspired to continue sharing this read with My audience. A minor but important detail I Will explain in Greater detail tomorrow when I summarize the information. For now, let’s look at today’s Trilogy, which represents Universal Influences governing the Quest-Ion (sometimes called ‘Karma’).
Once again, I encourage One to review the Nature of the Princes in the Tarot and what each of them represent as a whole before Focusing on their individual characteristics. My ‘identifier’ in the Tarot is the Prince of Wands, meaning that when the Card appears in a read, it represents My Character on the world Stage. I Will explain why/how it became an identifier for My Character later. One of the reasons it is difficult for Me to dismiss the ‘Magic’ of Tarot is because I have yet to perform a reading for Self where the Prince of Wands has not appeared, and he is usually found in the first three Cards, representing the nature of the Quest-Ion and/or the Querent.
It is not a coincidence that the Prince of Wands appears in the section which represents Universal Influences concerning the Quest-Ion, as it specifically relates to My sharing this read with the Macrocosm here on My Blog. Here’s what the Virgin Universe has to say about the Princes of the deck (in general).
“The Prince is the Son of the Queen (the old King’s daughter) by the Knight who has won her; he is therefore represented as in a chariot, going forth to carry out the combined Energy of his parents.”
Let’s face it, all of these Ideas make sense, they are archetypes that are war King to Ward Peace in Man’s psyche whether We are conscious of these Ideas or not. In My opinion, if One can see their shadow Self (the animus), One has a much better chance of harnessing that Energy for their Purpose (Quest). Before I continue with the Prince of Disks, I thought I would share One more serendipitous quote:
“he is the published record of what has been done in secret.”
Did I not say that very soon I would be revealing some big Secrets about Man’s Macrocosm? Well, this Tarot read is the introduction to those Secrets; sharing them here is the Act of revealing those Secrets on a published record. 😉
What is the Prince of Disks all about, then? Any guesses?
First and foremost, the Prince of Disks is the ‘Airy’ Part of Earth. Air represents Mind and is also the Element associated with Gemini (My Sign) and all the Princes (much like the Queens represent Water expressed in each of the Four elemental manifestations). Notice the chariot upon which the Prince of Earth sits, is black. It also appears as though something is fermenting or brewing in the background. Nothing is coincidence.
“This Prince is the Air of Earth. The Chariot of the Prince of Disks is pulled by the Bull of Taurus, demonstrating this attribute.”
I placed ‘Bull of Taurus’ in italics deliberately to emphasize this point (which I Will expand on later).
Okay, I’d better get on with this or I won’t get through all three, but I Will cover these Ideas in Greater detail when applicable.
The Prince of Disks is influenced by ‘The Prince of Wands’ (My Character in the Tarot).
It’s difficult to know what lines to quote considering this is My identifier in the deck (both positive and negative qualities), so this time I’m including a full paragraph, in an effort to be less selective. I always recommend reading the full description to get a full sense of the Card.
“His sense of humour is omnivorous, and may make him a mysterious figure, dreaded without reason by people who actually know nothing about him but his name-as a symbol of Terror. This is due to the influence of the last decan of Cancer upon this card. One of his greatest faults is pride; meanness and pettiness of any kind he holds in infinite scorn. His courage is fanatically strong, and his endurance indefatigable. He is always fighting against odds, and always wins in the long-the very long-run. This is principally due to his enormous capacity for work, which he exercises for its own sake, “without lust of result”; perhaps his haughty contempt for the world at large-which however coexists with profound and ecstatic respect for “every man and every woman” as “a star”-is responsible for this. “
I figure that pretty much sums up My Character reasonably well in a single paragraph (faults and all) and also touches on the Idea of every One being the Hero of their own Story (every Man (regardless their sex) is a Star).
Finally, We have the 2 of Cups, Love.
“In the Hermetic Qabalah, the 2, of any Tarot card suit, represents the Word and the Will.”
First line I noticed (above) while downloading the image seemed aptly fitting. There is SO much going on in this Card (well, in all Thoth Cards, really). We have the Idea of 6 is 9 represented by the Sign of Pisces in the up-right corner, which represents two Ideas Merging into and becoming One. We also have two Fish, which of course represents the Idea of Jesus and the Age of Pisces.
“When the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine Unite, there is no male or female present, only the Divine Hermaphrodite exists, who creates all-The Divine Creative”.
Another interesting detail I Wish to point out, is that only the 2’s and the 3’s in the Thoth Tarot are close enough to the ‘Root’ Power of their respective Element to receive the Title ‘Lord’. As such, the Two of Cups is also called the Lord of Love.
“The Two of Cups is the Lord of Love, which performs a similar office for water.”
“Similar office” refers to the description of the previous ‘2’s, the Lord of Fire, which represents that element “in its best and Highest Form”. Once again, these are all very Good Cards, especially considering they represent karmic or Universal Influences.
One last detail before I Sign off, is that Princes can also represent travel and/or the coming or going of a Matter, depending on the direction the Prince is pointing. The Prince of Disks appears to be full steam ahead and ‘holding’ things down, rather than pointing in any particular direction. The Prince of Wands, however, appears to be welcoming and/or introducing the Prince of Disks.
If I don’t wrap this up now, I won’t get it published tonight. I hope You’ve all enjoyed My introduction to the Tarot, though I Will be expanding on all of these Ideas as I continue documenting My personal Quest-Ion.
Hope Your Monday got the week off to a fabulous start!
Love and Blessings,
